CrossFit & Building Jefes
The technical definition of CrossFit is constantly varied functional movements performed at high intensity. In other words, in CrossFit classes at El Jefe we are going to teach you to move well, functionally, and once you can do that we are going to ask you to do those functional movements under increasing levels of intensity.
Every day the Workout of the Day or WOD will be different. Working with our coaches we can adapt and scale workouts and movements to suit your fitness and ability level. Have an old nagging injury that holds you back? Let our team know so we can modify and scale the workout to keep you safe while continually challenged. Think you’re too old or not strong enough? Let us show you that even YOU can be successful with us!Learn More

Qualifications: USAW Sports Performance Coach Education: Bachelor of Science in Humanities, Grace University Sport of choice: CrossFit & Distance Running In 1986 a friends dad asked if I wanted to tag along on a run. I grabbed my imitation Air Jordans and we ran 4 miles that evening. I was hooked! Becoming addicted to training hard and the rush of adeline, that one run propelled me through my school years into Division 1 athletics. Fast forward to 2016 when another friend invited me to try CrossFit at El Jefe at age 43. I was out of shape, at one of the heaviest weights of my life, and feeling older than my age. Reluctantly I gave it a try and this sport and these people have changed my life. I am the fittest and strongest I have ever been in my life and my only regret is not trying it sooner.
